About the Jasso Scholarship

Established in 1981, Jasso funds one academic year of undergraduate study abroad in any country worldwide. Over 100 scholars selected annually through a rigorous process.

Eligibility Requirements

– Be a U.S. citizen enrolled as a full-time undergraduate at a 4-year college/university
– Demonstrate intellectual ability, leadership potential and commitment to cultural exchange
– Study abroad during the awarded academic year (2024-2025)

Benefits and Financial Support

The scholarship covers international travel costs, academic program fees, room and board, books and a variety of enrichment activities totaling over $30,000.
